Why people use this instead of an extension
Most ChatGPT exporters are Chrome extensions. They don't run on iPhone or Android, they ask to read every page you visit, and the popular one caps free PDFs at three a day. Carryover is a web page. You paste a link and get the file, on any device, as often as you like.
Printing straight from chatgpt.com has its own problem: long chats come out with blank pages, because ChatGPT only draws the messages near your screen. Here the whole chat is laid out before you print, so every message makes it into the PDF.

Is it really free?
Single chats are free in every format with no daily limit and no watermark. Pro is a one-time $15 for bulk export of your whole history and the Claude migration pack.
Do you store my chats?
No. A share link is already public, so our server reads that public page and passes the messages to your browser. Responses are cached for ten minutes to keep things fast, then dropped. Export ZIPs never leave your device.
Does it work with chat.openai.com links?
Yes. Old chat.openai.com/share links and new chatgpt.com/share links both work.
Will images and files come through?
Text, code, tables and links come through. Uploaded images show as an [image] placeholder, because ChatGPT doesn't include them in the public share page.
