Getting it into email

Sending a share link works too, but it stops working if the chat is deleted, and some people don't like opening ChatGPT links. A PDF is self-contained and can be forwarded safely.

Why not copy straight from ChatGPT?

Copying from chatgpt.com brings over web styling and loses structure: code blocks lose their formatting, tables become loose text, and citations turn into odd markers. Exporting first gives email clean pages to work with.
