  3. Find it in Drive. Its text is searchable.

Getting it into Google Drive

Drive searches inside PDFs, so a folder of saved chats becomes a searchable archive. For editable copies, upload the Word version instead.

Why not copy straight from ChatGPT?

Copying from chatgpt.com brings over web styling and loses structure: code blocks lose their formatting, tables become loose text, and citations turn into odd markers. Exporting first gives Google Drive clean pages to work with.
